Wallenberg Autonomous Systems Program (WASP) (http://wasp-sweden.se) is Sweden's largest individual research program ever, with a total funding of over 200 million USD. In this first recruitment round, we are looking for 26 graduate students, who will complement 16 graduate students from industry recruited in a separate internal process at the partner companies. During 2016, the recruitment process starts for 12 professors, who will be offered a well funded four year package.
WASP addresses research on autonomous systems acting in collaboration with humans, adapting to their environment through sensors, information and knowledge, and forming intelligent systems-of-systems.
The program provides a platform for academic research and education, fostering interaction with Sweden's leading technology companies. The WASP graduate school provides unique opportunities for students who are dedicated to achieving international research excellence with industrial relevance.
